Belfast's popular Twilight market is set to return to the city later this month and is taking 'Beach Party' as it's theme.
St. George's will be decorated to match the theme with sand, party music, food and drink.
The event takes place on Tuesday 31st July and Wednesday 1st August, running from 4pm-11pm each day.
Councillor Aileen Graham, Deputy Chair of the City Growth and Regeneration Committee said:
“The earlier part of the day is family friendly events and entertainment, with the latter part of the evening being aimed at over 18s.
“It’s a chance to see, taste and listen in a very relaxed atmosphere. The beach theme is because it is summer and who doesn’t love to enjoy the sights and sounds of summer.
“We have more than 100 unique and quirky traders so the best of artisan local food, drink and craft stalls is available as well as enjoy chef demonstrations from some of Belfast’s finest award-winning chefs and restaurateurs.
"Show-stopping performances by local entertainers are also on the menu – so why not pay a visit to the Twilight Market.”
Among the ‘firsts’ at the Twilight Market is Gerard Doran, Head Chef at Buba who will be demonstrating his cooking skills while performers appearing for the first time include Jav and Dave, and SoulTown Groove.
Cookery demonstrations will be taking place between 6pm-8pm and include the perfect summer burger, an Eastern Mediterranean summer platter, as well as a cocktail masterclass by the Cocktail Academy.
Entry to the event is free and more information is available at our website www.belfastcity.gov.uk/twiligh
