Jewellery has been stolen from two unoccupied houses in the Marino area of Holywood.
Police say the properties in The Close, and Ailsa Road, were both broken in to sometime between 7 and 8.30pm on Monday night.
Anyone who witnessed any suspicious activity in these areas at the time is being urged to contact police.
A PSNI spokesperson said:
"The burglary in The Close took place at around 7pm and the burglary in the Ailsa Road area was reported just before 8.30pm. Items of jewellery were stolen from both houses, which were unoccupied at the time."

If you do have CCTV systems, please ensure that they are working, and please look out for elderly or vulnerable neighbours and check on them regularly.”
