A 53-year-old man has been charged with a number of fraud offences following an investigation into the animal charity the USPCA.
He's accused of two counts of fraud by abuse of position and conspiracy to commit fraud by false representation.
Further charges include possessing criminal property and concealing criminal property.
It's understood the suspect is the former chief executive of the USPCA, Stephen Philpott.
The suspect is due before Newry magistrates court next Wednesday, October 19.
A 52 year old woman who was arrested has been released pending a report to prosecutors.
The charges relate to an investigation launched at the charity in April.
