New report outlines concerns that some stroke survivors aren't getting care they need

Some stroke survivors in Northern Ireland aren't getting the care they need on time, according to a new report. 

The Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists say patients should be assessed within three days of an attack.

Ulster University found a third of those affected aren't happy with their one-to-one therapy.

Alison McCullough, from the Royal College says the treatment is crucial.
