Two properties were targeted by burglars in East Belfast yesterday evening.
At about 7.30pm last night, a man broke into the home of an older person in Knock Eden Park. and made off with a handbag containing keys and cash.
Officers also received reports that a woman returned to her home in Knock Eden Crescent at around 10pm last night and found rooms had been ransacked.
Police are investigating if the incidents are linked.

Detective Sergeant Fairfield said: “At around 7.30pm, we received a report of a burglary at the home of an older person at Knock Eden Park.
“The occupant reported that a male entered the premises and made off with her handbag, which contained keys and cash.
“The man, who headed in the direction of Cherryvale Park, was described as being approximately 5’ 4”, of slight build, and was dressed in a grey and navy top with the hood up.
“Several hours later, at around 10.50pm, it was reported that a second incident had taken place at a house at Knock Eden Crescent.
“The female occupant reported that she had left the property at around 2.45pm, and returned shortly before 10pm to discover that a number of rooms had been ransacked.
“Nothing is believed to have been taken at this stage.
“Our enquiries into both of these incidents are ongoing, and we are investigating a possible link between them. We are particularly keen to hear from anyone who may have any CCTV footage, or any other information which could assist us.
