A spate of car hijackings occurred in the space of a few hours last night and this morning across Northern Ireland.
The first incident occurred in the Drumintee Road area of Newry yesterday evening at about 8.35pm.
A woman was left badly shaken after a man, armed with a crowbar, smashed the window of her Grey Mercedes while she was parked outside a pub.
She managed to drive off, unharmed, but was left traumatised by the experience.
Meanwhile, in Belfast, shortly after 9:05pm, three men inside a grey Vauxhall Astra, parked in Mountcollyer Avenue were apparoached by a man armed with an unknown object.
The attacker order the men out of the car - and one of the men was assaulted.
The car was taken and was found crashed into a parked car at the Glencollyer Road area a short time later.
And in the early hours of this morning in Loughgall in co. Armagh a woman was pulled from a van which was then hijacked.
The incident happened on the Red Lion Road at around 2am when the driver was flagged down by two men.
The van was later found a short distance away - the driver’s handbag had been stolen.
The incidents are not being treated as connected by police at this time.
