A man is recovering after being stabbed in Ballymena.
Around 4 a.m. police received a report that the 21 year old was stabbed a number of times by two men close to a park in the Queen Street area.
The victim managed to walk to a nearby shop where he raised the alarm. He was taken to hospital for treatment for injuries which aren't believed to be
life-threatening at this stage.
Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact detectives at Ballymena PSNI Station on the non-emergency number 101 quoting reference number '96 01/03/17'.
