Bannsiders maintain unbeaten record but Reds stay in hot pursuit of league leaders

Coleraine maintained their unbeaten record in the Danske Bank Premiership on Saturday with a 2-0 win at Dungannon. Stephen Lowry grabbed both goals. 

Second-placed Cliftonville remain a point behind the Bannsiders after a 2-1 victory away to Glenavon. Rory Donnelly grabbed a spectacular winner. 

Ballymena crashed to a 3-0 defeat at home to Larne while Linfield were 2-0 winners against Carrick Rangers at Windsor Park.

Glentoran beat bottom club Warrenpoint 4-0. All the goals were scored in the first half with Croatian midfielder Hrvoje Plum striking twice.

It was a first home game in charge for Barry Gray on his return to Milltown...

 

Crusaders were the only top six side who failed to win against a bottom six club - they drew 1-1 with Institute at Seaview. 

The teams have an early rematch with the Crues hosting 'Stute in the semi-finals of the Bet McLean League Cup next month.

Holders Linfield have been drawn at home to Coleraine with both last four ties on Tuesday December 3rd.
