Fly-half Ian Madigan kicked Ulster into their first final since 2013 as his late penalty earned them a 22-19 win over Edinburgh in their Guinness Pro14 semi-final.
It was a dramatic comeback victory - they twice trailed by 12 points, 12-0 and 19-7.
Madigan slotted the winning points with the last kick of the game at Murrayfield to send Ulster to this Saturday's final when they will face inter-pro rivals Leinster at the Aviva Stadium.
