The Danske Bank Premiership title race took another twist on Monday night with Linfield beating derby rivals Cliftonville.

Their 2-1 victory in north Belfast moves the Blues back on top of the league, ahead of the Reds and Glentoran on goal difference.

All three teams are level on 50 points.

The Solitude showdown was Linfield's first match since their shock Irish Cup defeat against Queen's University.
