Shoulder surgery has forced Ireland and Leinster centre Garry Ringrose on to the sidelines for up to 5 months.
It means it's highly likely he'll miss the showdowns with South Africa, Fiji and Argentina in Dublin in November.
Ringrose picked up the injury in his province's semi-final defeat to the Scarlets in the Pro12 last season, however still featured in Ireland's summer tour fixtures in the USA and Japan.
Ireland won all three tests, with the last finishing 35-13 in favour of the visitors against the Brave Blossoms.
It's thought he'll be back sometime in December.

British and Irish Lions midfield player Robbie Henshaw is also out, with a torn pectoral muscle.
The Leinster centre returned home from New Zealand early due to the injury.
