The Danske Bank Premiership season was launched on Wednesday night ahead of the big kick off on Saturday.

Coleraine are aiming to go one better this time after being pipped at the post by Crusaders in the last title race. 

The Crues have been keen to sign Stripes striker Jamie McGonigle but Coleraine assistant boss William Murphy insists he's going nowhere...

Crusaders are in action on Thursday evening, hosting Olimpija Ljubljana in the Europa League second qualifying round.

The Crues trail 5-1 from the first leg in Slovenia last week.

The top two both had home wins in the Women's Premiership on Wednesday.

Leaders Linfield beat Sion Swifts 3-0 and Cliftonville had a 1-0 victory over Glentoran. 

Derry City won for the first time in the league - a 2-0 result at Portadown moving them four points clear of their relegation rivals.
