David Healy's men were hoping to overtake Crusaders with a win at Solitude

The only unbeaten record in the Danske Bank Premiership was shattered last night at Solitude as Cliftonville beat Linfield 2-1.

It was a first league defeat of the season for the Blues who missed the chance to go top of the table.

Cliftonville are now level on points with third-placed Coleraine, who have a slightly superior goal difference.

Former Linfield player James Knowles put the home side in front with a first-half penalty.

Paul Smyth equalised for the Blues just after the interval, but within minutes Jay Donnelly headed in the winner.

Here's Reds defender, Jaimie McGovern.
