Rory Donnelly has rejoined Cliftonville after a six-year spell across the water.

The 25 year old forward made the switch to Swansea back in 2011.

He made two senior appearances for the Swans, before moving to Gillingham four years later.

He watched the Reds last night as they beat Banbridge Town in the Northern Ireland League Cup second round.

Rory's brother Jay scored twice in a 4-0 win at Solitude.

“I’m delighted to be back and I can’t wait to get started." Rory told the Club's official website "It’ll be great to play alongside Jay and to team up with Joe again"

"Plus we’ve Dingo (Daniel Hughes) up there as well." he continued "We’ll maybe we’ll have to find a formation that gets us all on the pitch at the same time

"But so long as whoever’s picked is putting the ball in the net, that’s all that matters.”
