Tributes are being paid after the sudden death of former Tyrone and Dungannon Swifts goalkeeper Johnny Curran.

The 33-year-old father-of-two from Coalisland took ill on Sunday morning and died later.

Johnny was a member of the Red Hand squad that won the All-Ireland title in 2008.

A minute's silence was held before yesterday's national league game against Donegal.

Tyrone lost the match in Ballybofey by four points.

Also on Sunday, Fermanagh's Covid-hit footballers were relegated to Division Three.

Antrim hurlers secured promotion back to Division One and Down beat Derry to claim the 2B title.
