Last Thursday the draw for the 2018 Provincial Football Championships took place in the RTE studios in Dublin.
Tyrone drew Monaghan and will play the Farney men at home in Healy Park, Omagh.
This will be the red hands first home game in the Ulster Senior Championship in four seasons; which was when they hosted Down.
The last time the two Ulster sides clashed in the first round of Ulster, Monagahan came away the winners, edging the game by one point.
The winners of the upcoming Tyrone and Monaghan game will take on either Fermanagh or Armagh in the semi-finals.
