Tyrone's under 17 side will play Meath this evening in the All-Ireland under 17 Championship semi-final.
The red hands haven't played a game since the Ulster series played in May and June, whereas the Leinster league was ongoing in July.
This gave Tyrone a chance to watch their opponents while they were waiting on All-Ireland season.
Manager Collie Holmes told the Ulster Herald:
"They are a very impressive outfit, a big strong team with some really massive men.
"They are physically very tall, very powerful, but they are footballing men too."
Today, it will be 59 days since the Tyrone side's Ulster final win against Cavan, meanwhile Meath were playing two weeks ago.
Throw in for this evening's game is 7pm at Breffni Park, Cavan.
