The consultation now underway on design concepts for a potential £2.75M public realm scheme in Coalisland has been extended.

Local residents, traders and businesses now have a further 2 weeks to comment on the proposals which have been developed by Mid Ulster District Council.

Subject to funding and planning approval, will bring new high quality paving, street furniture, tree planting, signage, lighting and drainage to the town centre.

(More details about the scheme is linked below in a previous story from Q Radio)

The extension to Friday 10th November has been agreed as a result of the considerable interest in the scheme and to take account of half-term school and Halloween holidays.

Design concepts are on display in the Cornmill Heritage Centre and Western House in Coalisland until the consultation closes and the proposals are also available to view online at www.midulstercouncil.org/coalislandpublicrealm.
