Magherafelt based Bloc Blinds is a finalist in the manufacturing category of The Irish Times Innovation Awards 2016.
The company has been nominated for its Fabric Changer Roller Blind.
It was designed to enable the user to swap the fabric of their blinds - without removing the blind from the window.
The winners of the competition will be announced at an awards ceremony in Dublin on 5th October.
Cormac Diamond, Managing Director from Bloc Blinds, says they’re delighted to be recognised for their innovation.
“We have worked hard to be the best at what we do and to come up with new and creative products for the window blinds industry,” he says.
The Fabric Changer Roller Blind was developed in their former Draperstown factory.
“We are looking forward to the awards ceremony, but even being named as a finalist in this category has demonstrated just how cutting-edge our research and development processes are,” adds Mr Diamond.
