A man has been taken to hospital for head injuries after an assault in Derry/Londonderry.
It happened on Newmarket Street in the early hours of this morning.
It's reported a number of men were fighting, when the 30 year-old sustained serious injuries.
Detectives are appealing for anyone who was in the area of Newmarket Street during the incident, or who witnessed it, or anyone with any information that can assist with the investigation, to contact detectives in Strand Road on 101 quoting reference 209 22/10/2017.
