A 48 year old Coleraine mother, who was shot in the foot on Sunday night, has been released from hospital.
Her 18 year old son, shot in the leg in the same incident, awaits surgery.
The two were shot by a masked man who burst into their James Street home.
Police are appealing for anyone with information about the attack to contact Coleraine Station.
