One more coronavirus related death has been recorded in Northern Ireland.

It brings the Department of Health's death toll to 2,143.

73 people have also tested positive for the virus in the past 24 hours - out of 1,947 individuals tested.

61 people remain in hospital with covid - five of whom are in intensive care units.

It comes as Northern Ireland's vaccination programme was extended to people aged 35-39 earlier today.

Last week it was announced the age group could take advantage of some limited availability to get a vaccine.

By Sunday, some 1,247,931 doses of the jab had been administered in Northern Ireland.
