Fans of the hit Channel 4 show 'Derry Girls' are going into meltdown after the official trailer for the second series was released online.
Actress, Nicola Coughlan shared the video on Twitter saying 'DERRY GIRLS SERIES 2 TRAILER THIS IS NOT A DRILL!!!!!!'.
The tweet had hundreds of likes and retweets within minutes on Tuesday evening.
Thousands of people started tuning in to the weekly installments of Season 1 when it was released in 2018.
The six-episode show followed characters Erin, Orla, Clare, Michelle and James as sixteen year old youths.
The Friends lived Derry- Londonderry during the later years of the Troubles in Northern Ireland and the show cover's their experiences of life, boys and school.
With famous quotes of 'cream horns' and 'punt purses' Netflix even started streaming the TV show worldwide after agreeing a deal with creators at the end of last year.
Derry Girls is written by local woman Lisa McGee and draws on her experience of life growing up in the city.
