Second-placed Glenavon beat Ballymena 4-0 in Lurgan, Andrew Mitchell striking twice to bring his total for the season to 10.
All the goals were scored in the first half and it was already 3-0 when Sky Blues defender Kyle Owens was sent off after 35 minutes.

It moves Gary Haveron's men up to fourth in the standings above Crusaders and Cliftonville, level on points with Linfield.
Swifts boss Rodney McAree wasn't so happy.
