Danske Bank Premiership leaders Coleraine host Dungannon Swifts on Saturday.
On Thursday night, the Bannsiders issued a statement about the eligibility of midfielder Josh Carson.
"After receiving his fifth yellow card against Crusaders, the Club believed that Carson would be suspended for this weekend’s clash against Dungannon Swifts – but he was not named on the suspension list released last Friday.
"As a result, the Club contacted NIFL and the IFA after noticing he was due a suspension. It is expected that he will be on the suspension list tomorrow (Friday) and will miss the fixture against Ballinamallard United."
Also on Saturday, second-placed Crusaders travel to Warrenpoint Town.
Fourth faces third at Solitude with Cliftonville up against the team two points above them, Glenavon.
