Dungannon’s Kris Meeke gets his World Rally Championship campaign under way in just over two weeks time in Monte Carlo.
He’s a veteran of rallying, having been in the sport for more than 10 years.
And he’s fully aware what’s in store for the next year.
He and his co driver Paul Nagle will tackle snow, tarmac and gravel surfaces this year.
Behind the wheel for Citroen Total Abu Dhabi World Rally Team, Meeke has already proved he has the winning mentalit.
He won in Argentina in 2015 and in Portugal and Finland last year.
Despite nine podiums in 73 rallies, he feels that’s not enough.
The Dungannon man says it’s been a career of “ups and downs”.
