A further five patients who had previously tested positive for Covid-19 have died in Northern Ireland.
Another 1,933 positive cases of the virus have been notified by the Department of Health.
Five coronavirus deaths had also been confirmed on Tuesday - with 1,658 new cases.
On Wednesday morning there were 329 Covid-positive patients in hospital, 38 in intensive care.
Meanwhile, a further 4,152 cases of Covid-19 have been confirmed in the Republic.
As of this morning, there were 543 people in hospitals with the virus, with 118 patients in intensive care units.
