The owners had planned to keep the iconic Portrush attraction open after putting it on the market in 2019.
The outbreak of the Coronavirus pandemic in March 2020 meant the park never opened for the year's summer season.
In a statement the family said: "Barry’s continues to remain closed in line with Covid restrictions and will not re-open until the sale process has concluded.”
