A rapid response paramedic, three police officers and an ambulance crew tended to a drunk 15-year-old in Cookstown on Friday night.

The teenager was found in James Street, prior to the teenage disco getting underway in the town.

Police want to remind parents to be aware of where their children are going.

In a stern warning on the Cookstown police’s Facebook page, they say it’s a waste of valuable resources on a busy Friday night when they are stretched.

And, they’re warning parents that police and social services could be calling at their door.
