Glenn family thanks the local community as the search for Jack continues

The family of a young man who entered the River Foyle last week has thanked the local community for their support.

Jack Glenn is understood to have entered the water sometime before midday on Thursday 2^nd February.

His family have been leading a tireless search operation along the river bank ever since.

Thousands of people from across Northern Ireland joined the search for the 23 year old over the weekend.

Peter Tait is a relative, he says the support the family has received has been ‘overwhelming’:

Groups have been moving off from the Peace Bridge at Ebrington Square every hour under the guidance of Foyle Search and Rescue and the PSNI.
