A man armed with scissors has threatened a customer and demanded money at a shop in East Belfast.
It happened at a premises on the Woodstock Road at around 8.20 last night.
Police say he made off with a sum of cash from the till.
Detectives are appealing for witnesses following an armed robbery at commercial premises on the Woodstock Rd in east Belfast at 8.20pm yesterday evening, Saturday 16 February. Witnesses asked to call 101 quoting reference 1293 16/02/19.

A PSNI spokesperson said:
"Police received a report that at around 8.20am a man had entered a shop armed with a pair of scissors. He threatened a customer with the scissors and demanded money from staff. "
"He made off with a sum of cash from the till. He is described as being aged in his late 20s or early 30s, approximately 5’8” tall and of slim build."
"He was wearing a blue hooded top and grey track bottoms and had a black scarf covering his face."
"The suspect was reported to have been in the company of a pregnant female earlier in the evening."
"She is described as being approximately 5’4” tall with blonde hair tied back. She was wearing a cream coloured coat and pink scarf."
