A 46 year old man has been arrested in connection with the murder of high profile loyalist Colin Horner.
The 35 year old was shot dead in outside a Bangor supermarket in front of his young son back in May
The suspect was detained this morning and is being questioned at Musgrave police station in Belfast.
A court previously hear how the fatal shooting was part of an ongoing feud amongst loyalist paramilitaries in the area.
A suspect was refused bail by a district judge in June after police warned that if he was released from custody it could "feed into tensions".
A PSNI detective told the court that police believe Mr Horner's murder was "part of ongoing mounting tensions within South East Antrim UDA".
He claimed it was connected to the murder of ex-UDA chief George Gilmore in Carrickfergus in March.
A second man charged in connection with the murder was also released on High Court bail earlier this year.
