A man's body has been recovered from a lake at a golf course in County Antrim.
It happened in Templepatrick on Tuesday afternoon.
It's understood two men were searching the lake for golf balls when one got into difficulty.
A man in his 50s was pronounced dead at the scene.
A PSNI spokesperson said they received a report for the concern for safety of a man shortly before 2.05pm in a like in the Paradise Walk area of Templepatrick.
"Police and other emergency services responded. Sadly, a man's body was later recovered from the water,"
"The local council have been made aware."
The NIFRS said a "specialist rescue team" was sent to the course, alongside two appliances from Antrim.
Meanwhile, the Air Ambulance attended alongside paramedics but a NIAS spokesperson said last light, "no-one was taken from the scene".
Local representatives say the incident is being treated as a tragic accident.
Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough Councillor Paul Michael says he was shocked when he was notified of the incident yesterday afternoon.
"I would wish to send my deepest sympathies to the family at this time.
"This is not something we have heard about in the past in the Templepatrick area, a very tragic situation and one of shock.
"I have spoken to people in the local community who are totally shocked in hearing this news".
