A public event will be held at the bus station in Cookstown tomorrow, regarding the current public consultation.
The consultation was launched by Translink on proposals for the weekend closure of facilities there
A spokesperson from Translink said the motion is only for the closure of its facilities and that it will not impact any bus routes or services.
The aim of the consultation will be to see how much the facilities are used during the weekend period, as well as how much its closure would affect local people.
Local Councillor Trevor Wilson is encouraging all local people to take part and have their say.
He says if it closes, it will be "turning Cookstown into a glorified bus stop at the weekends".
The Councillor also says it's well used at all times and that there was cross-party agreement that they should keep this open.
The public event will take place tomorrow at 10am to 12noon where Translink reps will be available.
This will give people the chance to gain a bit more information about the consultation itself and decide on how they may want to respond to it.
Mr Wilson says it is vital for people to turn up or to give their feedback:
"Unless people turn up and tell them there's a need for it, Translink will implement their proposals so I would encourage as many people as possible to turn up and register".
Feedback can also be given online at http://www.translink.co.uk/cookstown/ and by filling in the survey there.
A copy of the leaflet is also available from the Cookstown bus depot.
