Omagh and Fermanagh RAF air cadets have donated a large quantity of combat uniforms to be used on the frontline in the fight against COVID-19.
The squadron's 28 members and four staff responded to an appeal on social media requesting polycotton fabric in order to make safety equipment for medics.
The overalls were due to be handed out to members based at St Lucia Barracks in the near future.
Flight Lieutenant Graham Dodds said it's a small sacrifice to make, but admitted they'll make "funny looking" scrubs.
"In this time of National emergency, our Sqn felt compelled to step up and do what we could to support our fantastic NHS and Health Care staff across Northern Ireland," he said.
"Good citizenship is at the core of what RAFAC is about and this donation will support those battling this national threat by providing vital items of equipment.
"This surplus uniform is ideal for medical use as it is polycotton and of excellent quality."
"The response of our local community has been fantastic at this challenging time and we are honoured to play our part in protecting everyone involved in protecting us"
Flight Lieutenant Dodds also thanked Lorraine Palmer for organising the collection.
