Two men living at a house in Portaferry where forced to barricade themselves inside a bedroom last night when two masked men broke in to the property.
The intruders caused extensive damage to the house - located on High Street.
They then damaged a parked car outside when they left the scene.
Police are appealing for witnesses:
Detectives in Newtownards are appealing for information following an aggravated burglary at a house at High Street in Portaferry at around 9.30pm on Saturday 27th October. Two masked men forced entry and caused extensive damage inside and to parked car outside. Any info to 101.
