A women and three young children have been threatened by a gang of men armed with guns and a hammer in Co.Down.
Three men burst into a property on the Ribadoo Road near Ballyward at around 7.30 last night.
The house was ransacked by the men who locked the family in a bathroom.
The suspects then made off in the families Grey Audi A4.
The women and children were not hurt, but have been left badly shaken.
Two of the men were described as being around 6’ tall, of slim build whilst the third man was around 5’8” tall and of stocky build.
The three men wore masks, gloves and hi-vis tops.
