Linfield are top of the Danske Bank Premiership tree for Christmas.

It's after they fought back from a goal down to draw 1-1 with third-placed Crusaders at Windsor Park yesterday.

Next up for the defending champions is the Boxing Day derby away to Glentoran.

The Glens maintained their title challenge with a 1-0 win at Carrick. 

Man of the match Navid Nasseri hit a stunning winner in the second half...

Cliftonville beat Coleraine 1-0 at Solitude and replace the Bannsiders in second place.

Reds star Rory Donnelly went off injured and there were clashes between the players after the final whistle.

Larne had a 2-0 victory in Warrenpoint while Dungannon against Institute finished 2-2.

 

 

It was an emotional day for Carrick and the Glens after recent tragedies for both clubs...
