In GAA, in the Ulster Minor Football Preliminary Round Kilrea beat Crossmaglen 1-14 to 13 points.

And in Ulster Colleges GAA, St Pat’s Maghera enjoyed a Corn Na Nog win.

They beat Abbey CBS of Newry 4-10 to 1-10 in the final.
