Tennent's Irish Cup holders Glenavon are through to the quarter-finals after a controversial 2-0 victory against Armagh City on Saturday.

Armagh claimed the opening goal should have been disallowed as the ball was knocked out of goalkeeper John Connolly's hands.

However, the referee waved away the protests after Lurgan Blues striker James Gray scored.

The recent signing from Southport believes Glenavon were worthy winners...

The holders will now go to local rivals Portadown in the last eight while Crusaders host Linfield.

Coleraine are away to Ballymena and Dungannon Swifts have home advantage against Warrenpoint Town..
