Glentoran are back on top of the Danske Bank Premiership after a 2-0 win against Institute at the Brandywell on Saturday.

Navid Nasseri broke the deadlock before defender Keith Cowan scored on his debut to make the points safe.

(Video reaction below).

The Glens' title rivals Linfield and Cliftonville both slipped up.

The defending champions were held to a scoreless draw by Dungannon at Windsor Park.

David Healy's men just couldn't get past 16-year-old Swifts keeper Conner Byrne...

Cliftonville lost 1-0 at Carrick Rangers. Lloyd Anderson gabbed the winner and Darren Murray made his Carrick debut after joining on loan from Glentoran.

Meanwhile, Crusaders moved up to second spot, a point behind the Glens, following a 3-0 home win over Larne.

Glenavon won by the same score at Ballymena while Coleraine had a 4-0 victory away to bottom club Warrenpoint - Jamie Glackin hit a hat-trick.
