Linfield are celebrating lifting the Gibson Cup on Saturday -

That's despite David Healy's men crashing to their heaviest domestic defeat in almost a decade, 4-0 at home to Glenavon...

Healy rang the changes as the Blues had already clinched the Danske Bank Premiership title last week.

And after the trophy presentation ceremony on Saturday night the manager paid tribute to his team ...

Robert Garrett, who left Linfield for Glenavon in January, had opened the scoring with a stunning shot from outside the area.

The victory takes the Lurgan Blues into third place, two points above dethroned champions Crusaders.

Two goals from Ryan Curran gave Cliftonville a 2-0 derby success over the Crues at Solitude.

Ballymena had a 1-0 home win against Coleraine - Leroy Millar smashed in the only goal.

Warrenpoint beat visiting Dungannon Swifts 5-3.

Ards are off the bottom of the table after a 1-0 victory against Institute at the Brandywell.

Michael McLellan's long-range free-kick clinched the three precious points for Warren Feeney's team.
