He got a bronze in London as a flyweight, before missing out in the bantamweight category at the Rio Olympics

Olympic boxer Michael Conlan has said he will turn professional.

It comes just after fellow Belfast man and Team Ireland flagbearer Paddy Barnes made his announcement.

He has joined American promoter Top Rank Boxing.

The bantamweight missed out on a medal in Rio, four years after his bronze success as a flyweight at London 2012.
