Cliftonville Ladies player Billie Simpson has been nominated for FIFA’s world goal of the year - the Puskás Award.
It’s for a stunning strike from her own half last season during a Danske Bank Women's Premiership 2-2 draw with Sion Swifts in Strabane.
The 27-year-old is on the 10-goal shortlist alongside the likes of Lionel Messi and Zlatan Ibrahimović.
It goes to a public vote open until 1 September to decide the top three, then FIFA Legends will pick the winner - to be announced on September 23rd.
