Aspar sporting director Gino Borsoi admits the team is sad to be saying goodbye to Toome’s Eugene Laverty at the end of this season.
After two seasons in MotoGP, both spent with Aspar, Laverty is returning to World Superbike. He’ll headline a new Aprilia-backed project.
Laverty is currently eleventh in the world championship.
