Ballymena United clinched second spot in the Danske Bank Premiership last night with a 4-3 home win over Glenavon.
It's only the third time in their history the Sky Blues have finished in the top two and means they automatically qualify for Europe.
Newry City lost 2-1 at Institute and remain bottom of the table with only Saturday's fixtures left to play.
Ards moved three points clear of their relegation rivals by beating Dungannon Swifts 1-0 in Bangor.
The North Down team also have a superior goal difference - they're four goals better off than Newry.
But manager Warren Feeney says his players still need to get a result in their final match at Warrenpoint on Saturday to make sure of staying up...
Dungannon go to Newry for their last game and Swifts boss Kris Lindsay say his men might have more to play for than they think...
Also last night, Linfield beat Cliftonville 5-1, Coleraine were 4-2 winners against Crusaders and Glentoran were held to a 2-2 draw by Warrenpoint Town - former Point player Darren Murray getting a late equaliser at the Oval.
The Glens host Institute on Saturday still needing a point to secure the final Europa League play-off place.
So @BallymenaUnited clinch 2nd place & qualify for Europe - @ArdsFC1900 go into final fixtures on Sat 3 points clear of relegation rivals @NewryCityAFC with a better goal difference +4.
