Gardaí have seized €37.5m worth of herbal cannabis in Dublin.
It was part of ongoing joint investigations, targeting organised crime groups.
The consignment arrived into Dublin, and a subsequent search resulted in the seizure of 1,873kg of herbal cannabis.
Joint investigations are continuing both domestically and internationally with regard to the seizure.
Authorities say the drugs were destined for the Irish market and have yet to rule out a cross border element.
