An elderly woman from co Wicklow has died from her injuries in hospital after a crash in Banbridge.
Two cars collided on the Scarva Road on Saturday morning.
The victim, who was in her 70s was a rear passenger in one of the vehicles.
A woman in her 80s, who was also injured, remains in a serious condition in hospital.
In a statement the PSNI has said: "A woman aged 50 who was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving causing grievous bodily injury following a road traffic collision on the Scarva Road in Banbridge on Saturday 11th November has been released on bail pending further police enquiries."
"Officers have appealed to anyone who may have seen either vehicle being driven in the area on Saturday morning, or who witnessed the collision to contact them at Armagh on 101 quoting reference number 546 11/11/17."
