A man armed with a machete has threatened two people as they attempted to clamp a car in North Belfast.
They were said to be left unharmed, but extremely shaken after the incident on Forthriver Road at around 10.15 on Thursday evening.
Officers searched a nearby property in Forthriver Crescent and say they recovered a number of suspected cannabis plants.
A man was arrested at the property on suspicion of assault, possession of drugs, possession of an offensive weapon and abstracting electricity.
The 30 year old has since been released on bail pending further inquiries.
