A pedestrain has died after a crash in South Belfast.
The man was hit by a car on the Saintfield Road near Carryduff on Thursday afternoon.
The road remains closed and is causing major traffic delays this rush hour.
MP for the area Emma-Little Pengelly confirmed the news on Twitter.
She wrote: "Devastating news of a loss of life on the Saintfield Road this afternoon - my thoughts and prayers are with the family at this dreadful time."
